A recent data breach may have exposed the personal information of Rhode Islanders.
Individuals who are directly affected will be getting a letter in the mail from the state.
The breach, caused by a cyberattack, may impact anyone who has used state programs since 2016 including:
- Medicaid
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
- Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
- Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP)
- HealthSource RI health insurance
- Rhode Island Works
- Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS)
- General Public Assistance (GPA)
- AT HOME cost-sharing
Due to the attack, current customers may be unable to log into their accounts while the system is offline.

1) Check the new state website daily for the latest and most up-to-date information. https://admin.ri.gov/ribridges-alert
2) If you think you may be impacted, you can call a new hotline at (833) 918-6603, open from 9am - 9pm Monday-Friday.
This is a multilingual call center run by Experian.
You may be asked to give a reference number for the incident which is B137035.
