The Arc of Blackstone Valley is proud to support Lorraine in achieving her goals of...

Living...
Lorraine is very comfortable in her group home in East Providence where she has lived for 23 years. She helps out with light household chores and enjoys making muffins for herself and her housemates.

Learning...
Lorraine is very resilient and spends a lot of time working on ways to stay healthy. This includes regular therapies to ensure that she feels her best.

Working...
Lorraine retired from her job at Blackstone Valley Industries in 1991. Since that time all of her supports have been based out of her home.

Playing...
With retirement comes lots of time to enjoy fun things in life. Lorraine likes going out to eat, shopping, socializing with friends and family, and helping her housemates with meals on wheels. Relaxing in front of the TV with Oprah is a definite must.

Lorraine expresses her satisfaction with big hugs for the people she cares about.

Thank you for choosing The Arc of Blackstone Valley to be a part of your life.
