The stores rely on donations of household goods and clothing from the public that are then resold at a nominal price.
...these businesses provide meaningful and productive employment and they provide critical services to individuals in need from throughout the community.
People choose to work at New to You because they like to work in a retail setting interacting with the public.
Many jobs are available at the store:
- processing the many donations that are received
- washing and ironing donated items
- pricing items
- greeting customers
- waiting on customers
- cashing out customers and
- inventory control.
