The Arc of Blackstone Valley is proud to be a part of:
Advocacy
The Advocacy Project of The Arc of Blackstone Valley was established in December of 1992 to develop a system of advocacy in the Blackstone Valley area for all individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
We strive to:
Improve and expand involvement of people with developmental disabilities at all levels of The Arc in order to promote leadership.
Foster community and grass roots activism to improve inclusion and develop new opportunities for people with developmental disabilities.
Provide support, information, referral and resources to people with disabilities, their families, and their community.
There are many issues that affect all of our lives, so it is important to know how to have your voice heard both individually, and collectively.
